Gleneagles Townhouse – Edinburgh
The iconic Gleneagles Townhouse has been expertly restored by ISG Construction , Stirling Stone and architects 3DReid, using Darney sandstone to breathe new life into this architectural gem.
PROJECT INFO
This stunning transformation celebrates the building’s intricate stonework, grand columns, and classical details, ensuring its legacy continues to shine in the heart of the city. Gleneagles Townhouse was the culmination of a five-year project to convert the former Bank of Scotland headquarters into the grand hotel it is today. Darney sandstone had been used previously in the building’s original stonework.
Now standing as a luxurious destination, Gleneagles Townhouse seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary elegance. From careful restoration to modern enhancements, every detail reflects exceptional craftsmanship and respect for history.
3DReid won the GIA Awards Commercial category back in 2022 for their work on the project and in the same year the building was a finalist both at the AHEAD Awards Europe and Refurbishment Architect of the Year.
