Description:

Highly Prized and widely used Limestone from Dorset with a pale/white/buff finish, ideal for cladding and ashlar walling as well as many other uses.

Technical Information

Portland Stone is a limestone extracted from the largest mine on Portland.  There is no colour variation in the basic matrix of the stones, but the shell content and the texture of each bed will reflect the light slightly differently.
