Grand Designs - House In Northumberland

Client - Private.

Job Details - Supply of Blaxter sandstone for the renovation and extension of an original mill house. The build process was featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs series. At the time it was one of the longest projects the popular tv show had been involved with.

Job Details - Supply of Hazeldean ashlar for the construction of three new luxury apartments next to the original building.

Stone Type - Hazeldean Sandstone.

Architect - PMP.

Two Heads, Bailiffgate, Alnwick

Client - D. P. Builders

Job Details - Supply of Blaxter sandstone for a new doorway at the church, restoring it to it's former look.. The details for the design were taken from an existing doorway on the building which incorporates two hand carved heads into the design.

Stone Type - Blaxter Sandstone.

Architect - Vincent Stienlet.

Deer Plinth, Orchard Park, Cambridge

Client - Stoneworks.

Job Details - The Urban Deer sculpture takes the form of a bronze deer treading carefully through a pool of water represented by shaped sandstone. A partially submerged tyre and a lily pad floating on the surface complete the impression.

Stone Type - Swinton Sandstone.

Sculpter - Kenny Hunter.
